Title 1 | About The Winery |
Content 1 | History has united Rioja Alavesa and wine to the extent that it is impossible to think of one without the other. A unique geographical location, protected from the north by the Sierra de Cantabria and thriving on the fertile Ebro Valley to the south; a limestone soil that inputs all its character; a damp climate with just the right amount of sunshine and optimum year-round temperatures have all made Rioja Alavesa a region ideally suited for grape growing and winemaking. |
Title 2 | Winemaking |
Content 2 | This wine uses a unique type of grape: Tempranilo. It begins its elaboration with a process of c old pre-fermentative maceration that lasts three days letting Lar de Paula obtain a bigger concentration of color. After the fermentation, they carry it to new casks of French and American oak, where it will be kept for four months. Wine is then bottled and a minimum of six months later, the wine is introduced to market. |
